Not all my bio's will be this long I don't think, I just like putting in lots of detail for leaders.
Cat's Name:[/i]Cherrykit, Cherrypaw, Cherryrose, Cherrystar
Gender:[/i] She Cat
Age: 45 moons
Picture:
Quick Description; A small long haired ginger she cat with milky blue eyes.
Appearance; Cherrystar has a long elegantly flowing ginger pelt with even white flecks throughout her entire body, almost like tabby markings, but not quite. On the tip of her nose she has the mark that helps distinguish her from other ginger she cats. A small black dot that she has held from birth. Although she is a small cat, she has large, round eyes that shine a milky blue-green in the slightest of light, she was commented on this many times throughout her warriror hood, mainly by toms that were interested in being her mate. She may have an overall small stature, but this doesn’t stop her from being a formiddible fighter, with hard muscles under her fluffy pelt. Due to her small size she can move nimbly on her small ginger and white paws, making her an all-round steady fighter.
Thanks to the many battles that she has taken part in she is not without her scars. The most noticeable for her is along her right front leg, a bite wound from a fox many moons ago that failed to heal properly. The other, noticeable to other cats is along her left ear, it is splt in the corner and forms a long, almost gash like scar down to her head.
Personality
-Loyal
-Trusting
-Compassionate
-Weary
- Quietly Intelligent
- Thoughtful
Cherrystar is a weary she cat, however she does not cower in the face of danger. She makes her decisions based on the overall good and doesn’t just look at the here and now, but to the future too. She puts on a front, makes herself noticed so that her Clan do not fear the unnecessary.
Loyalty is a very important factor in Cherrystar’s leadership, she relies on her Clan’s loyalty to aid her through her decisions. In return, she gives her Clan her own undivided loyalty, stopping at nothing to keep her Clan happy and as safe as they can. She does not take disloyalty of others lying down, she believes that if a cat is disloyal once, they may do it again, however, she will give second chances, but they will be under the watchful eye of her deputy, or in some cases, herself. Two strikes and your out.
However, through all this, she is trustful of her cats, and sometimes, although it may be wrong, the other cats around her too. She trusts the motives of others even if she does not believe what they have done is right and she will give them the benefit of the doubt, once at least. Her own clan are trusted by her, it could take her a long time to notice that someone is being disloyal, this is where she relies on others to keep there loyalties in the Clan, reporting anything that doesn’t seem right straight back to her or her deputy.
Cherrystar shows compassion for all cats that have earned it, when they need it. She will not let a dying cat suffer, no matter what the clan or the circumstances. Some cats could see this as a big weakness, but she sees it as the will of StarClan, every cat has served them in someway and so deserves the final respects of the forest cats to send them on their journey, where they too will guide the forest cats until they too join Starclan.
As well as this she has always had a soft spot for kits, so when all is peaceful she will spend time with the queens and their kits in the nursery, she could never have had her own and become leader, so she must have do with the bundles of joy that her Clan can bring. All the cats in her Clan are her family.
Cherrystar with all her trust and compassion may come off as being a push over, or a leader that will put only that into her decision making. But that is not the case at all. Cherrystar is quietly thoughtful and puts lots of thought into the decisions that she makes. She will not plunge straight into things with no thought at all, she will make sure that her Clan cats come first; she wouldn’t push them out into danger unless any other way was not possible. As well as her own Clan she will consider the others in her decision making, if she knew that the other clans were weak and she had an opportunity to attack, she would refuse it. She does not agree with the idea of an unjust battle, if there is to be a fight they must be equally matched, not weakened by hunger or sickness. There is no justice in that.
History; On a bright morning in leaf-bare, 45 moons ago, a she cat lay in the nursery, three beautiful kits suckling at her tummy. Two she cats and a tom, their ginger and white shapes rising and falling as the breathed. One of these was Cherrykit. She was the smallest, the runt of the litter, tiny in comparison to her big brother. Her sister, almost identical to her in colour and size did not make it through the first night of their lives, greencough had been threatening the clan and had made its way into the nursery, Cherrykit and her brother were lucky enough to escape it. Her brother who remained was not a nice cat, he would bully her about her size and the fact that she was too shy to leave the nursery on her own because of the attention that she got. She wouldn’t leave the nursery to listen to the elders stories like her brother used to, instead she would simply peer out the entrance, looking at the warriors as they busied themselves with their duties, not wanting to be seen.
When she was apprentices at 6 moons of age Cherrypaw was a fast but cautious learner, always double checking before she did something for the first time, but she caught on quickly. This weariness did annoy her mentor sometimes, but thankfully they were aware that for ashy cat like Cherryaw this would only make her more nervous, so they persevered. Cherrypaw took part in an unnesecary border battle during her training. She was with her mentor and another warrior when another Clan cat passed onto their territory, it could have been avoided if it wasn’t for the leader of their patrol being aggressive. Cherrypaw gained the scar on her ear from this battle, but other than this she was not badly hurt. The loss of her father happened through her apprentice training and this knocked her off track. Taking a few days out to grieve with her mother she dropped further behind her brother, which only fuelled his taunting. Despite all of this she still managed to become a great warrior, and with her extra support she found a great fondness for fishing.
When she became a warrior, at the same time as her brother, she was once again given aggression by him. He said that she was the reason that he was not made a warrior sooner, he had been held up because of her weariness and the grieving she did with there mother, he had not done this. With her warrior status came her slight rise in confidence, with this she learnt to ignore her brothers taunts and concentrate on the important things. When she was given her first apprentice she was amazed, she hadn’t expected to get one for a good few more moons, but she mentored him with all the care that she possessed and he became a great loyal and conscientious warrior for the Clan. After that, she mentored two other apprentices, all growing into superb fishers.
After just 12 moons of being a warrior she was made deputy when the former deputy was killed by a fox that invaded the camp. Cherryrose had been among the cats to fight off the fox before it had a chance to get to the kits in the nursery. She fought bravely and got many injuries. She gained the large scar on her right leg from this epic battle; it put her out of action for a good 6 moons, and failed to heal completely well. Nevertheless, she was made deputy that night. The pride that spread through her on that day could not have been any stronger. Her brothers angry gaze did not leave her however, and for the rest of his life he envied what Cherryrose had become. As far as he was concerned he should be the deputy, not her.
The former leader lived many more moons, Cherryrose serving as her loyal deputy. But over 20 moons later she finally lost her last live, passing her leadership over to Cherrystar. To start with, she was scared, worried that she would not be able to live up to her last leader’s expectations. Worried that she would lead the Clan into trouble and would bring no good to them at all. But over time she knew that she had to deal with the realisation that she, Cherrystar, was the leader. With her deputy she has managed to bring her Clan through many battles. She has lost warriors, her brother included, but she has done everything in her power to avoid battle, to safe them. But now that her brother has gone to join the ranks of Starclan she knows that she now has nobody overshadowing her leadership. Making her think that she isn’t worthy, it’s her and her alone that can make her final decisions, and the rest of the Clan have been happy to support her decisions.

It is time to announce my decisions about the river, and our claim of Sunningrocks. It is fair to say that our Clan is suffering, the river is frozen meaning there is less, to no water and prey is much much lower without the stock of fish to feed us, we need more territory. However, we are weaker now that we are not full fed, we are thirsty. A battle does not seem like the best option to me. However, we may need to resort to that if Silverstar does not show her compassion.
Firstly, I will lead a party to visit Silverstar, we can’t wait until the next gathering as it is too far away. We will station ourselves at Sunningrocks, this shouldn’t pose them as much as a threat than if we were to reach there camp. I will take my medicine cat with me as this will hopefully show Thunderclan that I am coming in peace, to negotiate, not fight.
We must let Silverstar know that we respect that her Clan are also lower in prey, but that Riverclan survive off the fish in the river. She must understand that it is not a permanent claim on sunningrocks, simply an aid until the river thaws.
However, if Silverstar does not listen we need to conside our other options. The obvious is to fight. After a failed negotiation they will be keeping extra watch on their territory to make sure that we stay away. So sneaking around will not be an option, it will only put us in danger.
I will arrange a strong fighting team and lead them to sunningrocks, then we will stake our permanent claim on sunningrocks, maybe then, when Silverstar realises we are trying to take it for good, she will feel like listening. Along with this team I will arrange a back up to be patrolling around the edge of our territory, so if we need backup you are not far away. It is possible that we will lose cats in a battle; however, we are also likely to lose cats from hunger if the river does not thaw soon. If all else fails, it will be our only option.
I will leave tomorrow for the negotiation. If it fails, we will use the nest two days to build our strength as much as possible for the battle to follow.
